Samsung has announced that it is making three models from the brand’s Odyssey lineup of gaming monitors for 2025 available globally. These three monitors are the Odyssey OLED G8 G81SF, Odyssey G9 G91F, and Odyssey 3D G90XF.
The tech giant unveiled the Odyssey 3D (G90XF) in August 2024 and the Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) in January 2025 at CES 2025. Whereas, the Odyssey G9 G91F seems to be a new model as we hear about it for the first time.
Samsung Odyssey OLED G8, Odyssey G9, Odyssey 3D availability and prices
Samsung hasn’t mentioned in which regions it has made them available. To know more, we scoured the brand’s official websites for a few countries and found all three monitors on sale on its website for its home country, South Korea. Below are their prices.
- Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 27-inch – KRW 1,470,000 ($1,002)
- Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 32-inch – KRW 1,740,000 ($1,186)
- Samsung Odyssey G9 49-inch – KRW 1,250,000 ($852)
- Samsung Odyssey 3D 27-inch – KRW 2,490,000 ($1,697)

Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 G81SF features
The Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 G81SF is available in two sizes, 27-inch and 32-inch. Both models have Samsung Display’s fourth-generation QD-OLED panels with 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms response time.

According to Samsung, it covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and has 250 cd/m2 typical brightness. The screen has an anti-glare coating, supports HDR10+, Nvidia G-Sync, and AMD Freesync Premium Pro, and comes with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.
The monitor has two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, two USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB Type-B port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Its stand offers height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustment. The monitor also has RGB lighting at the back. Surprisingly, the company is offering only a six-month warranty on the product.
Samsung Odyssey G9 G91F features
The Samsung Odyssey G9 G91F features a 49-inch VA panel with Dual QHD resolution (5,120 x 1,440 pixels), a 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms GTG response time, and 1000R curvature.

According to the company, it covers 92% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and has a 350 cd/m2 typical brightness and 2500:1 contrast ratio. The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and comes with VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification.
The monitor has two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, two USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB Type-B port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The stand that comes with it offers adjustments for height, tilt, and swivel.
Samsung Odyssey 3D G90XF features
The Samsung Odyssey 3D G90XF is Samsung’s first 3D monitor that doesn’t require people to wear glasses to experience content in 3D. It has a 27-inch IPS panel with 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), 165Hz refresh rate, and 1ms GTG response time.

According to the company, the monitor covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and has a 350 cd/m2 typical brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio. It has support for HDR10+ and AMD FreeSync Premium.
The Odyssey 3D G90XF has two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, two USB Type-A 3.1 Gen 1 ports, and a one USB Type-B port. Its stand offers height, tilt, and pivot adjustment.
