The Galaxy A56 might be Samsung's best mid-range phone to date, and not just because it received the usual yearly upgrades in terms of hardware. It seems like Samsung put more thought than usual into its mid-range device this year.
We spent some time with the Galaxy A56 over the past few weeks and had many positive things to say about the device in our written review. Now, we want to share our video review with SamMobile readers and fans on YouTube.
In our written review published last week, we called the Galaxy A56 a “smooth operator.” Surprisingly, the Exynos 1580 chip does a decent job! And you can now see just how decent it is in our Galaxy A56 review video below. It delivers a much better experience than the previous Exynos chips did in past years.
For the first time at this price point, it doesn't feel like the mid-range hardware is holding the experience back all that much. The Galaxy A56 ships with One UI 7, and although it's not as rich in AI features as, say, the Galaxy S25, the A56 UI feels very smooth and responsive for the most part.

Mind you, the Galaxy A56 can't replace your premium flagship if you want a no-compromise device. But for the price point, it seems to tick all the right boxes.
The Galaxy A56 is elegant, well built, and offers a decent camera experience for the price. Most of the pesky UI performance issues that have plagued previous models seem to be gone. And, guess what? Battery life is insanely good. We topped two days on a single charge.
