Samsung's first trifold phone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, has been on sale since late last year. The company has made this device available in very few countries, and Japan isn't on the list.
Nevertheless, Samsung is giving fans in Japan the opportunity to experience the Galaxy Z TriFold in person, even though it doesn't have any pans of selling the device there just yet.
Samsung doesn't say when the device will be released there
The Galaxy Z TriFold is quickly selling out in all of the markets it has been released in so far. Samsung most recently released the device in the United States where it sold out within five minutes of being available.
Samsung has been making it available in very limited quantities, which is why the Galaxy Z TriFold sells out quickly. It may only be making several thousand units available in every restock as this isn't meant to be a mass-market device.
The company has announced that it's showcasing the Galaxy Z TriFold in Japan starting today. Those who are interested can check it out at Samsung's Galaxy Harajuku and Galaxy Studio Osaka stores in Tokyo and Osaka, respectively.
Samsung does point out that it's not making the Galaxy Z TriFold available for purchase in Japan at this point in time. It also doesn't say if and when this device would be released in the country. For now, those who have been waiting to check it out can only experience at the Galaxy Z TriFold at the stores mentioned above.
