The Galaxy Z Fold 8 will be Samsung’s most important foldable phone in years, especially as Apple is rumored to launch its first foldable iPhone this year. However, Apple will not be Samsung's only rival. OPPO is also preparing a new book-style foldable phone that could launch as soon as next month.
The OPPO Find N6 is reportedly set to debut in March 2026. The Chinese company recently held an internal showcase of the device, where it was claimed to feature the shallowest display crease in the world. The phone is rumored to have a 200MP primary rear camera, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. It could come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a 6,000mAh battery, 80W wired charging, and a stylus.
In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to use a new OLED panel with a nearly invisible display crease. Samsung accidentally showcased this panel at CES 2026 last month, and we captured its image before the company removed it from its booth. Even so, only time will tell which phone will offer the least visible crease this year.
