Yesterday, a content creator, Sahil Karoul, got his hands on Samsung’s next flagship non-foldable smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, ahead of its official launch at the next Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for 25 February 2026. Since then, he has been exploring the device and revealing many things about it. Surprisingly, the first new piece of information about it was revealed even before he opened the box.
In the images of the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s retail box shared by Sahil, you can see that the box mentions that the phone comes with a 24-month warranty for Africa. Usually, Samsung offers phones, even the higher-end and flagship ones, with a 12-month of 1-year warranty. However, if the latest leak is to be believed, the company will offer the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a warranty double that of its predecessor: 2 years.

It is possible that Samsung may offer the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a 2-year warranty in other countries as well. However, there is no confirmation on the matter. The brand offering the phone with a longer warranty period shows that it believes strongly in the phone’s reliability, and suggests that it is more reliable than its predecessors. This boosts a buyer’s confidence in the product, which may result in its increased sales.
