Samsung may have had to delay the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge, but not by much. Recent leaks and rumors say Samsung's ultra-thin premium phone could go official in May. However, the initial reach of the Galaxy S25 Edge may be limited to only two countries: South Korea and China.
It sounds like the Galaxy S25 Edge may share its fate with another limited-edition Samsung phone, i.e., the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which debuted in Korea and China last year. Fortunately, the Galaxy S25 Edge should come to other markets down the line rather than staying limited to only two.
Previously, it was reported that Samsung is planning to manufacture up to 3 million Galaxy S25 Edge units, ensuring a near-global release. Whenever the Galaxy S25 Edge will reach Europe, it may cost around €1,249.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is weeks away
As for the Galaxy S25 Edge's launch date, we previously heard that Samsung could announce the device on May 13. However, according to Ice Universe — who also shared the news about South Korea and China through Weibo — the Galaxy S25 Edge “will be released at the end of May.”
This could mean Samsung will announce the phone on May 13 and put it up for pre-order for a couple of weeks until the end of the month. Either way, chances are high that we will hear something big and official about the Galaxy S25 Edge in a few weeks.
The Galaxy S25 Edge share sine DNA with the rest of the S25 series, meaning it boasts a 6.7-inch display similar to the S25+ and sports the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip along with 12GB of RAM. The phone may also have a titanium build like the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
