The Galaxy S23 series has taken a step closer to the official One UI 7 update today with the release of a new One UI 7 beta update. This is the second beta update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Galaxy S23 FE isn't getting this update, as it's not part of the One UI 7 beta program.
The UK is the first market to get the second Galaxy S23 One UI 7 beta (version ZYCE), and it will likely roll out in other markets today as well. If you're running the beta version of One UI 7 on your phone, you can grab the latest update by heading into its Settings » Software update menu and tapping Download and install.
With this update, the Galaxy S23 series is getting some of the Galaxy S25's AI features, like the option to long press the power key to open Google Gemini and the option to use summarization and other writing related tools by selecting any text on a webpage and in select apps.

However, the Galaxy S23 series isn't getting features like Audio Eraser. This is not surprising: Audio Eraser is only coming to flagship devices launched in 2024, which include the Galaxy S24 lineup, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, and the Galaxy Tab S10 tablets.
