One of the main reasons Samsung is one of the leading brands in home appliances is that it only makes great products but also offers an excellent after-sales service, and the latest award the brand has received is a testament to that.
At the 2025 National Service Awards (NSA) event in South Korea, which was held on 26 June 2025, the Institute for Industrial Policy Studies awarded Samsung Electronics the first place for service quality in the home appliance category.
According to Samsung, its three-step service, comprising of pre-checking the condition of products, systematic after-care, and consumer-tailored care has fetched it this award.

The brand points out that in the year 2000, it was the first in Korea to introduce remote diagnoses for IT products, which allowed its personnel inspect the device without visiting the site physically. The company also notes that it recently introduced AI Pre-Care Notification Service with select devices that notifies customers on their smartphone about problems in a product.

Samsung also has a Weekend Care Center that provides “emergency smartphone maintenance on weekends and public holidays.” Recently, the tech giant also expanded the number of Display Unit Repair centres in its home country, which are special service centres for repairing screens of foldable devices that focus on fixing these screens with minimum replacements and costs.
