Samsung’s Android 15-based One UI 7.0 for Galaxy smartphones and tablets brings many new features. It also brings improvements to existing features, such as alarm groups in the Clock app. The Clock app lets you add multiple alarms to a single group that you can enable and disable with a single tap, and with One UI 8 (Android 16), Samsung has improved the feature with two new options.
One UI 8 lets you add an existing alarm to an alarm group
In One UI 7.0, when you opened an alarm group and tapped the plus sign to add another alarm to the group, the Clock app only gave you the option to add a new alarm.
With One UI 8, it gives you two options: Add new alarm and Add existing alarm. As the names suggest, the first one lets you create a new alarm in the group, and the second lets you add an existing alarm to the group, which is very useful and makes things a lot more convenient.

The alarm group widget makes it easier to turn it on or off
Second, while One UI 7.0 lets you add a widget for a particular alarm—whether it's part of a group or not—to the home screen, One UI 8.0 lets you add a widget for an alarm group as well. With that, you can just tap on the widget to set all the alarms in a group on or off.

One UI 8 was released for the Galaxy S25 series in beta on May 28 and you can find its full changelog and list of features here. If you plan on joining the beta program on your Galaxy S25, S25+, or S25 Ultra, learn how to best prepare your phone before installing the One UI 8 beta update.
