Samsung has started selling certified refurbished Galaxy smartphones in South Korea today. These ‘Galaxy Certified Used Phones' are certified to have been used minimally and have no signs of damage or regular wear and tear. Phones in the Galaxy S24 lineup are the first to be sold under this program.
Koreans can now buy Galaxy Certified Used Phones
Samsung says ‘Galaxy Certified Used Phones' are used minimally. Most phones were either returned within seven days of purchase or were unboxed and never used. The company says all such devices are tested thoroughly in-house and judged to be of the highest quality.

The Galaxy S24 series is the first to become available under the Galaxy Certified Used Phones program in South Korea. Samsung says it will bring more models in the future. Only factory unlocked devices are available through this program. Those devices are priced KRW 260,000 ($175) to KRW 640,000 ($434) lower than brand-new devices.
