At CES 2025, Samsung unveiled a new version of the Odyssey OLED G8 gaming monitor, which has the model number G81SF. Back then, it only talked about the 27-inch variant of the monitor. However, we were also expecting to see a 32-inch version. Well, both of them are finally here and available to purchase. Let’s take a look at their specifications, availability details, and prices.
Samsung has launched the 2025 Odyssey OLED G8 27-inch (S27FG812SC) and 2025 Odyssey OLED G8 32-inch (S32FG812SC) gaming monitors in China. Unfortunately, that’s the only country where the company has made the two models available to purchase at the moment. We are assuming that China got them first because that’s where they are being manufactured.
2025 Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) price and availability details
The company has priced the 27-inch model at CNY 7,999 (approximately USD 1,098) and the 32-inch model at CNY 8,999 (approximately USD 1,235). Both of them are readily available to purchase from Samsung’s official website for the country. It is also worth mentioning that Samsung has launched both models in only one color variant, and that is Silver.
2025 Odyssey OLED G8 27-inch (S27FG812SC) specifications
The Odyssey OLED G8 27-inch for 2025 features Samsung Display’s third-generation QD-OLED display panel. It has a 27-inch size, 4K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms grey to grey response time, 250 cd/m2 typical brightness, and 99% DCI P3 color gamut. It supports HDR10+ Gaming and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and comes with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.
It has one DisplayPort 1.4 port, two HDMI 2.1 ports, three USB ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The stand that it comes with, offer adjustment for height, tilt, swivel, and pivot. 2025 Odyssey OLED G8 32-inch (S32FG812SC) specifications
The Odyssey OLED G8 32-inch for 2025 has the same specifications as the 27-inch model except for two differences. First, instead of a 27-inch size, this one has a 32-inch size. Second, while the 27-inch model has 250 cd/m2 brightness, the 32-inch model has 260 cd/m2 brightness. You can check out the complete specifications in the four images below or on Samsung’s website.
At the moment, there's no information about when Samsung will launch the two monitors in other regions. However, considering that Samsung has launched them in China, we expect the brand to bring them to popular markets around the globe, including the US, in the next few weeks.
