The frequency of updates for the Galaxy Note 10 series has been on an upswing lately, particularly in the United States where the June 2021 update just landed. The June 2021 security patch only started deploying some ten days back, making this release for the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ a timely one, indeed.
To be more specific, we have recorded 30 other rollouts containing the June 1st, 2021 security patch level as of today. Not accounting for this pair of freshly debuted software packages, identified by PDA versions N975USQS6FUE3 and N970USQS6FUE3 for the Galaxy Note 10+ and Galaxy Note 10, respectively.
Samsung’s top-notch form with Galaxy Note 10 updates continues
Those build versions, alone, are enough to confirm there’s nothing beyond the June security update on board of this release. But that hardly makes this launch something to overlook. Especially given how much software support momentum Samsung and its carrier partners managed to accumulate in the U.S. over the last few weeks. As a reminder, this very same line was still only receiving the May 1st update as of two weeks ago.
How long this one is going to take to become available nationwide still remains to be seen. It started with Comcast, for what it’s worth. But anyone not happy with the idea of waiting for the new firmware to hit can also try pursuing the installation manually. To do that, proceed to Settings, open the Software update section near the bottom, and tap the Download and install command on the final screen.
Of course, our firmware archive is here if you need it, in all its vastness.
