Owners of Galaxy S25 series phones can now join Galaxy S26 users in trying out One UI 9 (Android 17) on their devices. Samsung has started rolling out the first One UI 9 beta update to the 2025 flagship lineup in select countries.
Android 17 is the second major Android OS upgrade for the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and S25 Edge and the first one for the FE model. However, it's unclear if the Edge model will be included in the beta program.
You can sign up for the beta program via the Samsung Members app. Once enrolled, you can download the first beta update from the phone's Settings > Software update menu.
