While most Galaxy users are still waiting for the stable One UI 9.0 update, tidbits related to One UI 9.5 are already leaking out. After it was revealed last week that One UI 9.5 will bring App Lock and glass-like UI design tweaks, a new leak has uncovered even more information.
One UI 9.5 brings design changes and smoother animations
One UI 9.5 features smoother animations on the home screen, according to tipster Fahad Ali Javed. This appears to be an out-of-the-box experience, without the need for any tweaks using Good Lock's Home Up module.
Usually couldnât care less about app opening/closing benchmarks, but One UI 9.5 is an absolute joy to use.
âThe animations all across the UI are ridiculously smooth (By Samsung's Standards).

The company also seems to have designed new visuals for the fingerprint reader indicator, which are visible on the fingerprint enrollment screen.

The stock Camera app has received some design changes as well. The sub-menu that opens when you tap any quick camera setting now appears in an overlay on top of the camera viewfinder.
Moreover, there are circular containers around all the options in the quick camera controls and related menus. Some options in the camera app now feature a golden tint, too.

This One UI 9.5 build for the Galaxy S26 series also seems to have added the new Finder and Google Search bars to the home screen. This feature was introduced with the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and it could come to older devices with One UI 9.5.

This upcoming version of One UI also seems to bring a native app mirroring feature. It can be used to mirror a Galaxy phone's app on a Windows laptop, but it requires both devices to be signed into the same Samsung Account.
