Today, Samsung has released a new software update to multiple Galaxy phones and tablets. And those devices include the Galaxy A57 and the Galaxy M56. Both mid-range phones are getting the newest security patch as a part of the new update.
The update is now available for the Galaxy A57 in Europe with firmware version A576BXXS5AZH3 and a download size of around 385MB. For the Galaxy M56, Samsung has released the update bearing firmware version M566BXXS6CZH4 in India, and it has a download size of around 318MB.
The August 2026 security patch is included in the update for both phones, and it fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities found in the previous software versions.
If you have any of the two phones and live in the regions mentioned above, you should check for the update right away. You can do that by opening the Settings app on your phone, navigating to Software update, and tapping the Check for updates button.
