Samsung has launched a special debit card for travelers

Samsung has launched a new debit card called the Samsung Wallet Hana Travelogue Check Card in its home country. It is designed for frequent travelers and offers several useful benefits, including waived currency conversion and ATM withdrawal fees.

The Samsung Wallet Hana Travelogue Check Card is designed for people in South Korea who frequently travel to other countries. It offers exemptions from overseas merchant transaction fees, a 100% preferential currency exchange rate, and waived ATM withdrawal fees.

Travelers also receive 10% in Samsung Wallet Points for each transaction made through Samsung Wallet at offline retail stores. People in South Korea can apply for the card without paying an annual fee. After the card is issue, a notification arrives on the user's Galaxy phone. They can then seamlessly add the card to the Samsung Wallet app on their Galaxy phone and smartwatch.

Samsung and Hana Card are offering limited-time promotions, including doubling the monthly Samsung Wallet Points limit from 10,000 to 20,000 points. Spending KRW 200,000 (~$136) or more overseas gives users a chance to win devices such as the Galaxy Buds 4, Galaxy Watch 9, or Galaxy Z Fold 8.

Samsung claims there are over 2.5 million Samsung Wallet Points users in South Korea.
