Samsung is expected to launch its next flagship book-style foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, on July 22, 2026. While there are still five days to go for the phone's official announcement, a luxury smartphone customization brand, Caviar, has already started selling a custom version of the device themed around football legend Lionel Messi.
The customized Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra features a portrait of Lionel Messi on the back panel, crafted using cloisonné enamel in the colors of Argentina's national team. The artwork, along with Messi's iconic number 10 and other design elements, is accented with 24-karat gold plating. It also comes in custom packaging that includes a Caviar-branded key with 24-karat gold plating.

Caviar is offering the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra Lionel Messi edition in three storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The brand has priced them at USD 13,130, USD 13,490, and USD 13,840.Â
Samsung is expected to launch the phone at a starting price of USD 2,099. That means the custom version of the phone is around USD 11,000, or 6.3 times more expensive than the standard version.
