Samsung has announced that Samsung Wallet now supports the MARTA Breeze card in Atlanta. It allows Galaxy smartphone and smartwatch users to access the card right on these devices, making it easier for them to authorise trips or pay for the trips they take using the transit service.
Samsung Wallet can show the remaining balance and trip history, as well as let people add money to the MARTA Breeze card. According to the brand, Galaxy phone and watch users can add the CobbLinc, Ride Gwinnett, Connect Douglas, and ATL Xpress cards as well to the digital wallet.
The South Korean tech giant has provided a step-by-step guide on how to add a MARTA Breeze card to Samsung Wallet. You can check it out below.
- Go to Samsung Wallet > All > Transit > Add Transit
- Search ‘Breeze’ and select
- To digitize an existing physical card: Add ‘Breeze’ > Transfer physical card to enter details
- Choose the option you want to purchase and either issue a card or purchase regional passes
- Agree to ‘Terms and Conditions’ and make your purchase
- Once purchased, the card will be available in the Quick Access tab or My Wallet section
Once added, you can access it by simply tapping it on a frigate or orange validator. There's no need to unlock the device. Speaking of Samsung Wallet, the brand recently updated it with the ability to create an itinerary based on flight tickets and hotel reservations.
