Samsung introduced its latest Android customisation for Galaxy smartphones, One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2), by rolling out the beta version to the Galaxy S25 series. Since then, the company has expanded the beta program to several other devices. While it was expected to reach newer and premium models, such as the Galaxy Z, Galaxy S, and premium Galaxy A series phones, the tech giant surprised everyone by extending it to the Galaxy A3x series device as well.
Now, Samsung is taking that surprise a step further by opening the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy A35. The move is particularly unexpected, as the brand typically reserves beta access for newer and upper mid-range devices, and the Galaxy A35 fits neither category. Currently, the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy A35 is live in the company's home country, South Korea, and India (via Tarun Vats). The update for India is 2,845.38MB in size and carries firmware version A356EXXU8ZZD2.
