Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy S26 series. The update was initially rolled out in South Korea last week and is now expanding to additional countries. It is expected to bring improvements to the 3x telephoto camera on all Galaxy S26 models.
Galaxy S26 series gets April 2026 update
A new software update with firmware version S94xBXXS2AZCL is now rolling out (via Tarun Vats) for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra in India. It could reach other countries in the coming days. It includes the April 2026 security patch, which improves device security. It also appears to introduce enhancements to the 3x telephoto camera across all three models.

If you own a Galaxy S26 series device in India, you can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates. Once the update is downloaded, tap Install now to begin the installation process. Your phone will restart after the installation is complete.
Some Galaxy S26 users had reported that images captured using the 3x zoom camera appeared slightly blurred. After the issue was raised on Samsung Community forums, a moderator acknowledged it and confirmed that it would be addressed in the April 2026 update.
