Second One UI 8.5 beta update for Galaxy Z Fold 7 is out

Earlier this month, Samsung opened the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Now, the brand is rolling out the second beta version of the new software to the phone.

The update for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 that offers One UI 8.5 Beta 2 is currently live in India. It is 946.18MB in size and carries firmware version F966BXXU8ZZCD (via Tarun Vats).

The update brings six changes, as well as the March 2026 security patch, which fixes 65 security issues. You can check out the official changelog below.

Fixed the issue where Concert Hall mode in Sound Assistant feature is not applied when using Buds3 Pro
Fixed the issue where the bottom part of the style is cut off when selecting after enlarging the clock in the lock screen background editor
Improved the issue where specific folders cannot be copied when connecting storage sharing between Galaxy Book4 and device
Fixed the issue where Concert Hall mode in Sound Assistant feature is not applied when using Buds3 Pro
Fixed the issue where shooting time is not displayed during Selfie Video Show Palm operation

Note that this update is available only for devices enrolled in the One UI 8.5 beta program. To get the latest update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
