Earlier this month, Samsung started rolling out the February 2026 security patch to Galaxy Watch models. While the brand offered it to the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Watch 6, the company hadn't released it for the Galaxy Watch Ultra. That’s changing today.
Samsung is rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy Watch Ultra. It brings the February 2026 security patch, which addresses 37 security issues, making the smartwatch more secure than before. The changelog also says “Device behaviour has been improved.”
We can confirm that the tech giant is rolling out in India, and considering that, the brand may also be releasing it in other regions. The update is 432.87MB in size and carries firmware version L705FXXU3BZB4. To get it, open the Galaxy Wearable app and go to Watch settings > Watch software update and tap Download and install.
Samsung has also detailed the March 2026 security patch. However, the company hasn’t started rolling it out. The brand may first offer it to smartphones and tablets and then to smartwatches. In other words, the Galaxy Watch Ultra may not get it anytime soon. In the meantime, you may want to watch our video below to know our views on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
