Earlier this month, Samsung opened the Android 16-based One UI 8.0 Beta Program for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Now, after almost two weeks, the brand is rolling out the second beta version of the new software to the device.
Samsung has released One UI 8 Beta 2 to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It carries firmware version F956BXXU2ZYHB and is 928.26MB in size (via Tarun Vats), as you can see in the screenshot below.
We can confirm that the update is live in India, and Samsung may be expanding it to other regions as we speak. Let’s take a look at the changes it offers.
The second beta version of One UI 8 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 brings September 2025 security patch, as well as fixes for many bugs. You can check out the official changelog below.

- Fixed cover screen widget error
- Fixes camera preview disconnecting issue
- Fixed zoom operation issue during Flex Mode video shooting
- Fixed the issue of icon overlap in the pop-up folder of multi-window
- Fixed the issue that only icons are displayed on the lock screen when notifications are received
- Fixed the issue that the screen turns on later when unfolding
To update your Galaxy Z Fold 6 to One UI 8 Beta 2, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
