The latest Galaxy Phone in every series

Galaxy Z Fold

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 was unveiled on July 9, 2025 and it's a strong contender to be listed among the best Samsung phones of 2025. Samsung started taking pre-orders for the device after Unpacked with July 25 as the release date. You can buy the Galaxy Z Fold 7 from $1,999.

Samsung has made significant changes to the device. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the company's thinnest and lightest book-style foldable yet, measuring just 4.2mm thin when unfolded. It also sports a larger 6.5-inch AMOLED cover display and an 8-inch AMOLED foldable display with 2,600 nits of peak brightness and a 120Hz variable refresh rate. Samsung has removed S Pen support from the device.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset with 12GB of RAM as standard for the 256GB and 512GB storage options. The 1TB variant comes with 16GB of RAM. Samsung has kept battery capacity at 4,400mAh with 25W fast charging support. Samsung ships the device with One UI 8 and Android 16 out of the box and promises Android OS upgrades for seven years.

The camera setup has been upgraded. There's a 200-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor with autofocus and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The device also has two 10-megapixel selfie cameras, one each on the cover and foldable display.

Samsung is offering the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and Silver Shadow colors. An online-exclusive Mint color is also available through the company's online store.

Galaxy Z Flip


The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is Samsung's latest addition to its clamshell foldable lineup which was unveiled at its Unpacked event on July 9, 2025 in New York City.

Samsung started taking pre-orders right after Unpacked and set July 29 as the release date.Prices start at $1,099.

Samsung has significantly overhauled the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and it's now the thinnest and lightest device in this series, measuring just 13.7mm when folded and weighing 188g. Durability has been further improved with a revamped hinge and high-strength materials.

The most meaningful change has been made to the cover display which is now significantly larger at 4.1-inch. The panel also has a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits of peak brightness. The internal foldable display is also larger at 6.9-inch with a similar refresh rate and peak brightness. It's a wider display so the aspect ratio is more conventional.

No meaningful camera hardware improvements have been made this time around. The handset has the same 50-megapixel primary and 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensors as its predecessor. Galaxy Z Flip fans sorely miss a telephoto lens on this series.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is the first foldable phone from Samsung to not use a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. It's powered by the Exynos 2500 instead and paired with 12GB of RAM with 256GB/512GB storage options. The battery size has been increased to 4,300mAh with 25W fast charging. The device comes with One UI 8 Android 16 from the factory and will receive OS upgrades for seven years.

Samsung is offering the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in Blue Shadow, Jetblack, Coral-red, and an online-exclusive Mint color, available only when you buy it from Samsung's web store.

Galaxy S

After unveiling the Galaxy S25 series in January 2025, Samsung has expanded the lineup in May with the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge. The company had teased this device back then, highlighting that it would be one of the slimmest phones ever in the Galaxy S series. The Galaxy S25 Edge brings flagship-level specifications in a metal build that's sleek and modern.

It's powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset that the rest of the Galaxy S25 models use. There's 12GB of RAM as standard and the device can be purchased with 256GB or 512GB of onboard storage

It has a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate. It has a 200-megapixel primary sensor, the same as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. There's no dedicated zoom camera on this device.

The 3,900mAh battery supports 25W fast charging, and the device supports wireless charging as well. Samsung ships it with Android 15 One UI 7 out of the box, and the device is guaranteed to receive seven years of Android OS upgrades.

Samsung has revitalized its Galaxy S series with the launch of this device. Samsung has also expanded the foldable series this year with the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. The “Fan Edition” device lowers the barrier of entry to Samsung's foldable Galaxy, balancing a lower price point with decent functionality.

April 2025 saw the launch of the Galaxy M56 in India. This is the latest Samsung phones in the lineup and it's essentially a watered down version of the mid-range Galaxy A56. It doesn't have the same metal body, stereo speakers, or the dust and water resistance rating, though.
