Galaxy S26 Ultra may have a camera disappointment in store for you

There are already a few rumors floating around about the Galaxy S26 Ultra. All of the information that has emerged so far suggests that Samsung isn't making any over the top changes to the device, with quite a few components remaining the same.

Those who have been keeping their fingers crossed for an upgrade to the primary camera sensor on the device may come away unimpressed as well. A new report indicates that Samsung won't upgrade the primary sensor on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

It could even have the same 200-megapixel sensor as its predecessor

A new report by GalaxyClub claims that the Galaxy S26 Ultra is going to have the same 200-megapixel rear primary sensor as its predecessors. It's also unclear if it's going to be a brand new sensor or if Samsung will simply reuse the one we find in the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

This follows another report earlier today that the Galaxy S26 Ultra's battery capacity will be 5,000mAh like its predecessor. There were rumors about Samsung possibly introducing new battery technology with this device to bump up the capacity, but that may not be the case.

Some rumors had even suggested that the S Pen slot may be removed in order to expand the battery, but if it's indeed 5,000mAh like before, at least S Pen fans can rest easy that their beloved stylus may still have a dedicated slot in the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
