Yesterday, Samsung updated the Galaxy M55 with Android 15-based One UI 7.0. Now, the brand is giving the same treatment to its sibling, the Galaxy M55s.
Samsung has released the One UI 7.0 update to the Galaxy M55s in India (via Tarun Vats). It is 33.17MB in size and carries firmware version M558BXXU2BYE7.

Along with Android 15, the update also offers the May 2025 security patch, which fixes security issues mentioned here. You can get it by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install. After installing One UI 7.0, the first thing you will notice is a new user interface, including redesigned icons, split view for notification panel and quick settings toggles, and apps with revamped UI.
Along with that, it offers two nifty features: Live Notifications and Now Bar. The former shows you the status of ongoing activities, such as sports scores at the top of the screen, irrespective of what you are doing on the device, helping you keep a tab on them. The latter shows you the status of ongoing activities on the lockscreen so you can keep an eye on them from the lockscreen without locking the device.
