While there’s still no sign of Samsung’s Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update for the Galaxy A23, the company is rolling out the November 2024 security patch to the smartphone. It fixes many security issues, which you can check out here.
The update is currently available only for the variant of the Galaxy A23 that it sells in the Americas, which has the model number SM-A235M. The update changes the phone’s firmware version to A235MUBUAEXL3.
You can get the update by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install. The other way to get the update is by downloading the firmware file from our database and installing it on the device using Odin on a Windows PC.
Android 15-based One UI 7.0 will bring many changes to the Galaxy A23, including a redesigned UI, new features, and smoother animations. A recent report suggests that Samsung might release the update before April.
