Look at Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition’s rear camera

Samsung is expected to unveil a slimmer and better-equipped version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 later this year. Ahead of the announcement, the image of the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition was leaked a few weeks ago. Now, a newly leaked image of the phone shows its rear-facing camera setup.

Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition camera setup has a different design

While it was already reported that the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will have a triple-camera setup, it wasn't clear if Samsung would use the same cameras or the camera design and layout. A new image shared by Evan Blass (@evleaks) offers us a closer look at the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition's rear-facing camera design.

The phone has three rear-facing cameras, each with a black surrounding ring raised above the rest of the surface. All those cameras are placed inside a camera housing that appears similar to the Galaxy S20's.

It was rumored that the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will have a 200MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

A previously leaked image of the device showcased a brushed metal design on the back, which could point to titanium material. But nothing can be confirmed as of now. The phone will likely have a 6.4-inch cover screen, an 8-inch inner foldable screen, and a bigger battery. It could use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy chip with 16GB RAM.
