Yesterday, we reported that Samsung could soon release the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 Beta update to eligible phones and tablets as the company’s subsidiaries around the world have started testing it. Well, today have a word on it directly from the brand and it isn't pleasing.
On Samsung’s Community Forum for Korea, a user pointed out that last year, Samsung rolled out Android 14-based One UI 6.0 Beta right before the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) 2023. Considering that, the brand should have released One UI 7.0 Beta by now as the Samsung Developer Conference 2024 (SDC24) is only a few days away (starts on 3 October 2024). However, we don’t have any sign of the new update.
Replying to that comment, a Beta Moderator on the forum said that the tech giant hasn’t decided when it should roll out One UI 7.0 Beta. Once it does, it will convey the date to people through the Samsung Members app. The company may announce a date and release the new software before the SDC24, just like it did last year. That means, the update could come out before 3 October 2024. However, that’s just our hunch.
The story continues after the video…
Leaks have revealed that One UI 7.0 Beta will bring massive changes and that it will feel very polished right from the get-go. Our hopes are high and we hope Samsung doesn’t disappoint us. Follows us on Telegram or WhatsApp to be the first to know when the new software comes out.
