The update doesn't come with the September 2024 security patch, though. The One UI 6.1.1-based software update for the Galaxy S23 series could be released in many other countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and North America later today or later this week.

This update introduces several new Galaxy AI features, including Sketch to Image, Portrait Studio, Composer, and voice translation during calls in third-party apps. It also allows users to translate text in images on websites and turn voice recordings into Samsung Notes. One UI 6.1.1 also allows users to translate and summarize PDFs, edit voice recordings (and their transcripts), and auto-detect language in the Voice Recorder app.
