Samsung is developing many phones and tablets at the moment which it will launch in the next few months. Among them is the Galaxy A16, a successor to the Galaxy A15 from last year. The company is expected to launch it by the end of this year. Leaks have already revealed the phone’s processing hardware as well as battery and camera specifications. Today, we get to see how the device looks, thanks to leaked renders.
In a new report, Android Headlines has revealed a render of the Galaxy A16 5G, showing the device from all angles. You can check out the image below.
Going by it, the Galaxy A16 looks identical to its predecessor, the Galaxy A15, carrying forward the same design philosophy, including the Infinity-U notch on the display, rounded corner, flat sides, and a back panel with glossy finish and no textures. The only difference we could spot is that the upcoming device comes in a new, teal, color.
While that’s not a bad thing, we wish that Samsung offered a punch-hole instead of a notch and reduced the bezel-size. Despite that, it looks much cleaner, more symmetrical, and more sophisticated than most affordable smartphones in the market.
The story continues after the video…
According to various leaks, the Galaxy A16 will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300+ chipset and Android 14. One of the memory configurations will offer 4GB RAM. The triple-camera setup at the rear will consist of a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP primary camera. The infinity-U notch will house a 13MP selfie camera. The phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery.
