Unlocked Galaxy Note 10 is getting the July 2021 security update in the US

One week after releasing the latest security update to the international variants of the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+, Samsung has released it to the unlocked variants of the smartphones in the US. The new update is yet to reach the carrier-locked variants of the Galaxy Note 10 series.

Samsung has released a new software update with the July 2021 security patch to the unlocked variants of the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+ in the US. The new software has firmware version N97xU1UES6FUF1, and it is currently available on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Comcast, Sprint, Tracfone, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile’s networks.

The new update fixes more than 20 vulnerabilities in Samsung’s software and the core Android codebase. It could also include a fix for the Android Auto bug and bring device stability improvements.

If you are a Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy Note 10+ user in the US on any of the carriers mentioned above, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the new firmware from our firmware database and flash it manually.

The Galaxy Note 10 series was launched in mid-2019 with Android 9-based One UI. Samsung released the Android 10-based One UI 2 update for the smartphones in December 2019, the Android 11-based One UI 3 update in December 2020 and the One UI 3.1 update in February 2021.
