Samsung was the worldâs biggest soundbar brand in 2025. This is not the first time the company has achieved that milestone. It was the number one brand last year, too. In fact, Samsung has held the top position in the global soundbar market for 12 consecutive years. The company has also been the worldâs leading TV brand for 20 years in a row.
According to market research firm Future Source, Samsung held a 19.7% share of the global soundbar market in terms of units shipped. In terms of revenue, the South Korean firm captured a 21.5% share of the global market. The company has maintained its number one ranking through continuous innovations in audio quality, convenience, and features.
Samsung soundbars pair seamlessly with Samsung TVs and offer features such as Q-Symphony, which uses the speakers in both the soundbar and the TV simultaneously to deliver more immersive audio. They also include technologies such as Active Voice Amplifier, Adaptive Sound, Dolby Atmos, and SpaceFit Sound. They even offer Wireless Dolby Atmos audio without the need to use a cable to connect to a TV.
In addition, Samsung soundbars offer modern connectivity features including AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Tap Sound, SmartThings, and Spotify Connect. The company also focuses on sleek designs so the soundbars integrate well with any TV setup.

This year, Samsung's flagship soundbar is the HW-Q990H. It has a 11.1.4-channel setup, HDMI 2.1 eARC (4K 120Hz HDR10+ passthrough), Auto Volume, Elevation Filter, Private Rear Sound, and improved bass even when the subwoofer is turned off. It has also added Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 wireless speakers with Dolby Atmos to the lineup.
