We are just over a month away from the launch of Samsung's next-generation foldable phones, and more information about those devices is leaking with each passing week. Now, it appears Samsung could launch an accessory for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra that was previously introduced for the Galaxy Z TriFold.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 series could have Carbon Standing Case
GalaxyClub has discovered that Samsung has been registering trademarks for a product called the Carbon Standing Case. Trademark applications have been filed in Australia, Canada, England, and South Korea over the past few weeks. Since the Galaxy Z TriFold and its Carbon Standing Case were launched months ago, this new trademark is likely related to the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.

If it is anything like the Carbon Standing Case for the Galaxy Z TriFold, it could be a minimalist, slim case with a carbon-fiber finish. It will likely protect only one half of the phone.
The Carbon Standing Case for the Galaxy Z TriFold costs $100 in the US, and a similar case for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra could also cost more than $50.

What to expect from Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra?
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is rumored to feature a 5.6-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch foldable display. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is said to feature a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8-inch foldable display. Both phones are expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. They will likely run One UI 9.0 out of the box.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is rumored to have a 4,800mAh battery, while the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery. Both upcoming phones are said to support 45W fast wired charging.
